The BC series offers dual purpose post cap/base for light cap or base applications. This product was designed to help resist lateral and uplift forces.
Provides an easy and secure connection between post and beam.
The design reduces the chance of the post splitting and eliminates nailing into end grain.
Made with 18 gauge galvanized steel for strength and durability.
Install with four 16d nails into each side on surface A; four 16d nails into each side on surface C. Total 16 16d nails.
